This week we pit two Spider-Man films against each other to see which comes out as the top web-slinger in preparation for Spider-Man: Homecoming. We talk about the web-based menu this week with webbed roti, lamb crepenettes with caul fat, an attempt at hand-spun cotton candy paired with an Almond Fudge, and all of this is closed out with a Whiskey Sour topped with a bitters web. After wrapping up our food conversation Leanna defends the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man and Ben defends Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man. Each with their own take, one focusing on Peter Parker as an awkward and uncomfortable character, the other focusing on how the movie deals the micro-moments of interaction between characters. We all have a favorite between these films though and it comes as no surprise when the two are watched back to back. We then ponder what moment is indicative of a person becoming their superhero, and set up where we are at in regards to Spider-Man Homecoming. Thank you for listening and we would love it if you could Review or Subscribe to the podcast.
